Serving the Berks, Lehigh, Lebanon, Carbon, Northampton, and Schuylkill counties in mid-eastern Pennsylvania.

We play games such as Settlers of Catan, Apples to Apples, Puerto Rico, Euphrat & Tigris, Acquire, Pinochle, Carcassonne, Munchkin, Titan, Goa, Princes of Florence, and many many more. Maybe you've never heard of some of these games, but I wouldn't be surprised if you've heard of or even played at least one of them. Many are published by American boardgame companies, though not the big toy companies such as Habso or Parker Brothers. Therefore, most haven't found their way onto the Toys r'Us, Kay-Bee, or Wal-Mart shelves. At least not yet...(though a few can be found at Amazon.com and Toys r' Us)

Game Day #6

Up and coming...

Our next Game Day will take place on:
Saturday, January 21st, starting at 10am.

Our 10am game this month will be TBA

We always try to play a longer game starting at 10am, such as Titan, Circus Maximus, Civilization, etc. So come early if you'd like to play our selected game or if there's some other lengthy game that you'd like to find players for. You'll often find a few gamers ready to learn and play. In fact, if you let me know in advance I can put the word out for you so that interest players will know to show early.

How do we decide what game to play? We now have poll at http://games.groups.yahoo.com join our group (brksbg) so you can vote and I'd like to get a little game discussion going on as well as find out who's coming on game day. Join up, it's free!

Where are we?

Our day-long game days are held at the Highland Estates Community Center in New Smithville, Pa starting at 10am. New Smithville is about halfway between Allentown and Reading, just north of Kutztown. This is an easily accessible location for anyone in the Berks or Lehigh counties, located right off of Route 78. Don't forget, there's a full kitchen on-site, including a refrigerator, microwave, and stove, so you're welcome to bring food.
