This year and from now on, you are REQUIRED to be at the draft. If you can't be there, you must either send someone to draft for you, draft via phone/PC, or relinquish your team. No one is allowed to draft for two people, if you send someone to draft for you it must be someone other than the 12 of us. If you canít make it or donít want to play any longer, let me know ASAP so we can find a replacement. Exceptions CONSIDERED, however you may never miss more than 1 draft and you must call in on draft day to make your picks if possible. Team owners MUST attend 3 consecutive drafts before you can receive considerations for missing one.

The web site is up and running, same as the past few years. It's great because everything was set up exactly as we left it last year. Rules are the same as we left them, the team names are even the same!

Stop by the website as soon as you get a chance, let me know if there are any changes from last year.

August 27th, 2006

Draft Day, 3pm. Chris & John Stenson's Home, 15 Woodside Ave, Levittown, PA 19057, Phone 215-945-7698

3 divisions of 4 teams. You will play each of the 3 teams in your division twice and everyone else in the league once. The divisions are:

South - John, Chris, Will, Justin
West - Jim, Matt, Lyle, Nick
East - Randy, Scott, Jordan, Mike

The contracts have been eliminated. See Keeper section below.

NO player can remain on the same team for more than 4 years! The player must either be traded in their 4th year (before the deadline) or the player will be dropped in the offseason and will reenter via the draft.

DUPLICATE KEEPER POSITIONS - You may have up to two players at any one position as keepers (ie. 2 RB's, 2WR's, etc.). However, there are limits!!! You are allowed to have 2 players at one position, but ONLY for one position (ie. you can have 2 WR, 1 RB, and 1 QB, but NOT 2 RB and 2 WR). In addition, you may not choose a duplicate position 2 years in a row (ie.- Matt has 2 RB keepers for 2005 so he CANNOT have 2 RB's in 2006, he could instead have 2 WR, QB, etc., but in 2007 he could then again have 2 RB keepers).

Any players drafted in the 2005 draft during rounds 5-20 plus any guys not drafted (picked up via free agency) will be eligible keepers for 2006.

On game day, you will play 9 positions, no more. - 1 Quarterback - 2 Running Backs - 2 Wide Receivers - 1 Tight End - 1 Kicker - 1 Defense - 1 Utility player (can be a 3rd RB or WR, or 2nd TE)

You are required to fill all of the 9 necessary positions during the draft. (1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Defense, 1 kicker, 1 Utility (one additional RB,WR,or TE). In other words, you can't skip drafting a kicker, defense, etc., you must take at least one of each.

We still have 20-player roster with 2 additional slots for Injured Reserve (22 max). We will draft 20 rounds max but probably less since most people will have at least 1 or more keepers.

Remember that it's a REQUIREMENT that you be at the draft. Trades are allowed starting on August 1st up until draft time for keepers and then regular trading begins immeditely following the draft.

As normal, the draft will consist of a maximum of 20 rounds. WeMany of us will have some keepers at this point, while the new players will have a max of 2 but maybe none, so in actuality it will be less than 20 rounds for many of us.

Draft order is determined by reverse seeding (bottom up) from the last season, except the league winner picks 12th and the runner up 11th from last (same as the NFL). We will hold a lottery on draft day for new team owners Lyle and Mike. Since we are always trying to mimic the NFL as much as possible, Mike and Lyle will get the tops picks in the draft.

Here's the order of selection for 2005 (as decided on draft day):
1. Lyle
2. Mike
3. John
4. Jim
5. Nick
6. Will
7. Scott
8. Randy
9. Chris
10. Jordan
11. Matt (League Runner-Up 2004)
12. Justin (League Champion 2004)

To pick, we will serpentine (1-12,12-1,1-12,etc..) through the rounds for the ENTIRE draft (i.e.-the person with the 1st pick in the 1st round will have picks 24,25,48,49,72,73, etc...)

Immediately following the draft, if you desire you may move injured players onto your IR and pick up additional players. We will do this in the order of the draft.

1. You can trade as many players as you want or set-up a pick-up and trade deal with someone. Trades MUST be submitted to the Commish by Monday (BEFORE Tuesday) via email. On Tuesday, all agreed upon trades will be made by the Commish. An email will go out each Tuesday regarding which, if any, trades were made. From Tuesday through Friday at noon, owners may submit an objection to any trade via email to the Commish. If there are three objections to a trade (no questions asked), then the trade will be cancelled and reversed.
2. We will be using the free agent queue again, the same as last year. You may go into the system and put any available players in your queue only from Tuesday morning through Thurdays at noon.Be sure the players are in the order you wish to take them.
3. The queue will be processed on Thursday at noon.
4. The queue order in determined by reverse ranking. The bottom team gets first selection. 5. After the queue has been processed, you will be able to pick up free agents yourself directly in the system up until that player's game time. 6. You may pick up as many free agents as your roster allows and you may designate players to drop. 7. The trade deadline is Monday November 14th, 2005.

The deadline to update your roster is game time for each particular player. The deadline is different for each player on your roster, depending on what day and time their game starts. Even though some players may be locked because their game has started/finished, you may still change the players in your roster who have yet to play.

Scores are usually tallied by the online system on Tuesday mornings. Game are not official until all substitutions have been applied and the score re-tallied Tuesday night. This is all subject to the Commish's schedule as to how soon this gets done. If the Commish is not available by Wednesday to make the necessary changes, then the co-Commishioner will make the changes.

Home field advantage applies for all games except the Championship Game and the Toilet Bowl.

Tied games are broken by: 1. Highest reserve player, 2. Highest total reserve

You are limited to 20 players on your active roster and 2 players on your injured reserve. You may have injured players on your active roster however they should be moved to your injured reserve to open up an extra roster spot for yourself, unless of course, your injured reserve is already full (ie-three injured players).

Healthy players are NOT allowed to be on your injured reserve UNLESS they just came off of the injured list. A player is deemed healthy unless they missed a game due to injury or is listed as OUT or DOUBTFUL of the Official NFL Injury List. You will be allowed up to one week to move injured players from the IR to your active roster immediately following any game they play in, they must be moved before they play a second game (sometimes more or less than 7 days).

A player is eligible for the IR only when they are listed on the Official NFL Injury List as either OUT or DOUBTFUL. Players who are suspended or excused from playing in a game are NOT eligible for the IR, as they are not injured.

- Injured reserve limit is 2
- Active roster limit is 20
- Total roster (active + IR) limit is 22
- Players are eligible for IR when they are listed on the NFL Injury List as OUT or DOUBTFUL.
- Players must be moved off of IR after they play in a game but before their next game is played.
- You may not add healthy players to the IR for any reason. If a healthy player is added to a roster, the team owner will be given one warning email. If after 2 days the problem is not corrected, the Commissioner will drop the player that is illegally on the IR. - You may add players who eligible to be keepers and are physically unable to play for the remainder of the season on the PUP list. The will NOT count against your 20/22 limit. The player will be dropped from your roster during the season, but in the preseason I will add those players (if any) back to your roster to be keepers for the following year. HOWEVER, if the player comes back at any time during the season, that player is removed fromt the PUP list and is open game for anyone to pick up as a free agent. If the player does not come back, then the original owner will retain the rights to that player for the following year.

Each division is ranked separately. Ranking is determined in the following order:
1. By the number of wins
2. By Head-to-Head match-up record
3. The number of division wins
4. Each team's total points

4 teams will advance to the Championship Playoffs and the bottom 2 teams will play in the Toilet Bowl Playoffs.

Championship Game & Playoffs (Top 4 Teams)
- The 1st round is week 15, the Championship Game will be played on week 16.

- Home field advantage applies for weeks 15 only.

- The winner of each division will advance to the playoffs.

- There will be one Wildcard team advancing to the playoffs.

- The Wildcard is decided by:
1. Number of wins
2. Head-to-Head Match-up
3. Total Points

- The top two teams will have home field advantage, the top two teams are determined by:
1. Number of wins
2. Head-to-Head Match-up
3. Total Points

Toilet Bowl Playoffs (Bottom 2 Teams)

- The Toilet Bowl will be played on week 15.

- Home field advantage does not apply.

Both teams advancing to Championship Game: No dues the following year

League Champion: Name is engraved on Trophy.

Toilet Bowl winner: 1st selection in the following year's draft

Losing Playoff Teams and losing Toilet Bowl Teams: no prizes

As usual there is a cost to run the website. The cost this year was $72.95, which I paid on June 8th. The cost is split between the 10 teams who did not play in the Championship Game. Players in the Championship Game do not pay dues the following year. In addition, we absorb the cost to get the trophy engraved, which I don't know yet (shouldn't be much)

So everyone except Justin and Matt will owe dues totaling: $7.30 + cost of engraving

You can pay me on Draft Day or ahead of time via (my user ID is:

In addition, Matt picked up a League trophy for us last year which will be passed on each year to the new winner. The trophy cost $36, which is $3 each to cover it. Each year the winner of the Championship Game will get their name inscribed on the trophy.

So in addition to the $7.30+ to me, please pay Matt $3.00 on draft day.

Please use the chat room whenever possible to avoid so many messages on the board, it's a real monster to monitor all of it since you guys are so chatty most days. :-)

There are only a few rules for the message board:
1. No cursing.
2. No vulgarity on any kind.
3. Submit complaints directly to the Commish INCLUDING accusations of cheating.
4. No SPAM.
5. Submit trade offers to one another through the Trading Block or via email.

- The league will consist on 12 teams with 3 divisions of 4 teams each.
- Team owners are responsible for updating their rosters, injury reserve, active players, avatars, team names, and personal info.
- If a team owner leaves the league, a new team owner will be sought out to come into the league. This is responsibility of the Commissioner. The new owner will take over the previous owner's team; players, draft position, keepers, and all. Prizes won by former team owner ARE NOT transferred.
